The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) is anticipated to host over 500 exhibitors at the 19th Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF).
The event is expected to feature more than 10,000 products and attract nearly 100,000 attendees. Scheduled from September 20 to October 1, 2024, at the Abuja Trade and Convention Center.
Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, ACCI’s Second Deputy President, explained that the fair provides valuable opportunities for both domestic and international exhibitors to showcase their products, explore new markets, and build essential business connections.
Hong said this year’s theme, “Mobility Options for Transportation, Trade Financing, and Taxation,” aims to enhance logistics, reduce operational costs, and address trade and finance challenges.
According to him, “AITF 2024 aims to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration, bringing together experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to chart a path toward a more efficient, sustainable, and innovative future for mobility.
“The fair will also address the need for sustainable financing and taxation strategies, particularly in light of challenges such as limited access to credit and the complexities of multiple taxation. These discussions will be crucial as we transition towards a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable society,” he stated.
